A nouveau multi-media project, INTERIEUR CUIR mixes music, video, dance, theater, and circus into a show at the crossroads of electro DJ set, cinematic projection, and street art.

THE ORIGINAL SOUNDTRACK

The car radio turns on, music resonates, we hit the road without stopping. The three beatmakers scroll through stations at a frantic pace, racing at 140! Km/h, Bpm?
Atmospheres follow, merge, flow, and pause – fast, efficient, eclectic. Robotic voices, barely comprehensible, electro sounds, atmospheric layers, catchy pop refrains, hip hop beats, wild techno and minimal house played live, intertwine and collide to form the original soundtrack of the INTERIEUR CUIR film.

THE FILM

On the screen, projected in front of the audience, the story of a character and a mysterious cheetah idol, magical, elusive. An improbably roadtrip ensues in this obsessive search, crossing great open spaces and urban wastelands.
A phantasmagorical story, between modern western and acid trip, the journey becomes an initiatory quest. The character and the cheetah seek each other, flee each other, chalenge each other, and confront each other, each filled with a magnetic power that the other cannot escape.
The story leads us towards suggestion, the absurd, mixing subliminal images and explosions of color. Brutal clashes, brakes, turbo, pedal to the metal, gristle, grit, and grease. The trajectory is singular, inevitable, driving toward a final confrontation: a tragic showdown between two sides of the same coin.

THE SHOW

Behind this screen, to blur fiction and reality, we can see a few performers and the cheetah, play, dance, mime, interact with the film and music. Sometimes huge, sometimes tiny, sometimes as shadow puppets, sometimes in front, amongst or behind the audience, they exceed the limits of space and time. Another dimension opens up, giving the spectator, a hallucinated traveller, a place in the race.
